Snow, Stoke, and Season Highlights: The 2024/25 Catski Season at Keefer Lake Lodge

Whether you joined us for your first taste of the Keefer magic or returned for another round of legendary turns, this season was all about the people, the powder, and the passion that makes Keefer Lake Lodge so special. As the season wraps up, let’s take a moment to celebrate some of the winter highlights at Keefer!

Early Starts & Endless Pow

The 2024/25 Catski season kicked off earlier than ever, with the lodge opening its doors to its first Catski guests on December 16, 2024. Thanks to some snow dances and belly rubs, Ullr gifted us with some awesome early and late season snow. Late March wrapped up a season of epic days, good vibes, and memories that made this winter one to remember at Keefer Lake Lodge.

New Faces & New Traditions

A huge shoutout to all our incredible guests this season! You are the core and heart of Keefer, and the reason our lodge comes alive each winter. We love to share our piece of the Monashee Mountains with you, whether you were a first timer at Keefer or a returning guest, we are grateful to have created some amazing memories with you this year.

This season was packed with highlights, and one standout was hosting King Snow X The North Face crew. These athletes brought next-level energy, filling the slopes with crab walks and tail grabs, all fueled by their passion for powder!

Another exciting milestone was our first-ever Ladies’ Catski Tour. A fantastic group of women took on the mountain together, showing their love for the backcountry while also sharing laughs and creating new lines with women alike. Apres-Ski All Night Long

At Keefer Lake Lodge, the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down. This season we turned up the volume with live music that rocked the lodge. It was awesome to host the Hip Replacements, a Tragically Hip tribute band, and Guns N' FN' Roses, a Guns & Roses tribute band, who brought high-energy rock and roll. Jim, cat-chauffeur by day and musician by night, serenaded us with his acoustic sets and original songs. Making evenings in the Twisted Post Bar & Lounge even more special. And of course, it wouldn’t be a true Keefer season without fireworks lighting up the sky, closing out incredible days with a bang!

The Team Behind the Magic

None of this season’s stoke would’ve been possible without our all-star crew. From the mountain guides keeping everyone safe and finding the powder we all dream of, to the lodge legends behind the scenes making sure every detail was dialed—this crew keeps the wheels turning and the vibes high at Keefer.

Big love to the mechanics who kept the cats purring, the chefs who turned every meal into a gourmet experience, and the bar crew who made sure the après was always on point. Whether you were guiding guests through dream lines in the Monashees or creating cozy, welcoming vibes in the lodge, you brought the Keefer magic to life every single day. This place wouldn’t be what it is without you—and we can’t wait to do it all again next season.
