We're getting ready for an epic catski season! Winter has made an appearance at the lodge, as the ground is blanketed in fresh snow already, plus we have some exciting updates from the Keefer team.
The temperatures are dropping, and the snow is starting to stack up here at Keefer Lake Lodge! We saw our first significant snowfall of the season in early November, and it just keeps coming. With more snow in the forecast, we are happy to welcome winter back to the Monashee Mountains. The adventure begins this December with 2-day tours opening up early, we can't wait to welcome Catski guests to the lodge for an awesome season opener. Let's make this winter one for the books!

Updates from the Keefer Team
This season, we're excited to share some updates about the Keefer team. Alongside our returning crew, new team members are eager to meet you including our new Lodge Manager, Josh! He was born and raised in the backwoods of Princeton, BC and spent his childhood carving trails and building freestyle setups, which sparked a lifelong passion for snowboarding. Landing his first job at a skate shop in Kelowna, he was able to learn the ins and outs of the recreation retail industry. He later dove into the Southern Okanagan’s food and beverage scene, working with top brewers, winemakers, and chefs which has led him to the road up at Gostlin Keefer Lake Lodge. Josh's passion for food and beverage has been a journey that he feels has come full circle with Keefer. He says, "it is a dream come true to land with a team as passionate about surfing pow & providing quality service". Now, he's bringing his skills and love for the outdoors to Keefer Lake Lodge, Keefin' the dream alive! On down days, you can find Josh chasing storms and continuing to work with slopestyle events while working towards judging international events.
Josh has been a shredder since he was a kid! He may have lost those cool shades, but he’s still carving up the backcountry with style.
And that’s not all. We’re also celebrating some wonderful news from the Keefer family. Many of you know and love Emma and George, who have been part of the Keefer family since 2018. This summer, they tied the knot with a beautiful ceremony here in Canada, followed by a second celebration with friends and family in the UK. We’re overjoyed for them and wish them a lifetime of love and happiness. Next time you’re at the lodge, be sure to congratulate this incredible couple!
Emma and George got married in Canada in July and then went back to the UK to celebrate with more friends and family there.
