Dates to be announced!
Shake the Lake is back for an encore performance! On the heels of last Summer's party we have gone full tribute rock band theme for 2023! We love rockin out and singing along to these bands so we sought out the best tribute acts in Canada.
We've got Crued who does an unreal tribute to Motley Crue, trust us, we have traveled across the country to see them. FAQ's
Please be aware that we are a backcountry lodge located 14km up a Forest Service Road. It is well maintained, but like any non-paved road, it is bumpy and dusty. Please drive with care and awareness that other vehicles will be ahead/behind you. Please recognize there may be logging trucks on the road as well.
Please download (print, copy or take a photo) of the directions below as you will lose cell phone service around Cherryville:
Take Highway 6 East from Vernon and continue through Lumby and Cherryville. Once you reach the Canco gas station (Frank's Store) in Cherryville, continue down Highway 6 another 37 km. Keefer Lake Road is on the left-hand side and there is a large white Keefer Lake billboard. You will see a huge blue Rest Area sign on the right side of the highway, just before our turn. Once you are on Keefer Lake Road, you will go over a bridge about 1.5 km in, stay right after this bridge. We have Keefer Lake signs counting down the km along the road.
Google Pin for the turnoff: Highway 6 and Keefer Lake Road
Gates will open at 1:30pm Friday August 18th. please do not arrive earlier than this, you’ll have more than enough time to rock out over the weekend!
Yes, it can but please keep in mind this is a forest service road, a 4x4 or AWD vehicle is ideal for this journey but 2WD vehicles do frequent the road with no problems. Our recommendation would be to ensure you are well prepared for a roadside emergency. There is no cell signal on the logging road, so in the case of a roadside emergency you should be flag down another festival guest on the road or be prepared to walk to the lodge to seek assistance.
