Celebrating 10 Years of Keefer
This year, we’re proud to celebrate Keefer’s 10th anniversary! It’s incredible to think that a decade has passed since Jeff Gostlin first discovered this winter paradise and set out to turn his dream into reality. Through his vision, determination, and hard work, a humble fishing resort has been transformed into an outstanding lodge and premier Catskiing destination.
We’re honoured to look back on how far we’ve come and grateful to everyone who’s been part of this journey. This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the passion of our team and the support of our incredible guests. Here’s to 10 years of adventure, 9 years of operation—and many more to come!
Season Opener: A Historic Early Start
Ullr has blessed us this year with the earliest start to the season in our history! A generous early snowfall paired with consistently cold temperatures up top has created perfect early season conditions—light, fluffy powder just waiting to be carved. We had our first pow-hungry shredders walk through the doors on December 16th, and they were not disappointed. While they were here, a wild Pacific storm barreled into the Monashee Mountains, dumping a treasure trove of legendary powder, allowing us to kick off the season right!
New 2-Day Trips
This season, we introduced new 2-day trip options for the shoulder season, and they’ve been a huge hit! These shorter adventures have proven to be incredibly popular, offering the perfect blend of action-packed days and a convenient timeline for those with busy schedules. The response has been incredible, and we’re already making plans to bring them back next year.
These 2-day trips aren’t just ideal for those seeking a quick but unforgettable getaway—they’re also a fantastic opportunity for locals to get out and experience the magic of Keefer Catskiing. This year, our team is packed with chefs who bring experience from some of the Okanagan Valley’s most renowned wineries and restaurants, blending their unique skills to create an exceptional dining experience.

King Snow Magazine X The North Face Visit Keefer
Keefer was honoured to welcome King Snow Snowboard magazine and The North Face Athletes to the lodge this December. The crew explored our tenure and captured some of the most rad riding we’ve ever seen. They just dropped us some raw footage from their time here, and it’s nothing short of epic—think massive airs and perfect powder carving!
