Cancellations and Refunds

Here at Gostlin Keefer Lake Lodge, our intention is and always has been to welcome our guests to our beautiful lodge and lead them to the sweet, sweet Monashee powder they crave.

We recognize that the current situation around the globe has caused a lot of uncertainty with the upcoming season and we are hoping to alleviate some of your concerns. We are continuing forward on the basis that we will be operating this winter.

With this, our deposit structure will stay the same. 25% due at booking, the second 25% due on May 1 and the balance due on October 1, 2020.

We recognize that Travel Insurance will not cover Covid-19 travel restrictions and have updated our cancellation and refund policy for the 2020-2021 season.

Keith Gostlin and Jeff Gostlin want to ensure your piece of mind in these unprecedented times and have committed to offer you a full trip credit for the 2021-2022 ski season. This includes your initial deposit and all subsequent payments made to us, based on the following terms:

  1. You have paid your deposit and all subsequent payments, as per the original contract structure (outlined above)
  1. 30 days prior to your tour, any of the following exist:
    1. The borders remain closed for non-essential travel
    2. Provincially ordered closure of the lodge
    3. Mandatory 14 day quarantine upon entry to Canada/ BC

As always, we hold an Emergency Medical insurance policy for all our guests, while they are with us. We encourage you to purchase Trip Interruption & Cancellation Insurance for everything non Covid-19 related.

We appreciate you, our guest and hope that these changes to our policies help alleviate some concerns about your booking. We look forward to welcoming you back for an amazing time in our 2020-2021 season.

Cancellation by guest

All deposits are non – refundable.

If you cancel more than 120 days before your trip, your deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable toward any new trip up to the end of the following season. It may not be used toward someone else’s payment on the same trip, but may be transferred to someone else purchasing a new booking.

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip, all money on account is non-transferable and non-refundable. For this reason we strongly suggest that all guests purchase cancellation insurance (see below).

If you cancel within 90 days of your trip and have paid in full for your trip, and if we find a replacement for your seat, you will a get 75% credit of what we can sell the seat for put toward another trip, valid only until to the end of the following season. Otherwise all money is non-refundable as per above.

Guests who cancel do have the option of finding a replacement to fill their seat. We will accommodate this at no extra charge if the guests transfer funds amongst themselves. All money on account will be transferred to the new person’s trip payment and will not be refunded to original seat holder.

No refunds will be given due to weather or snow conditions.

Trip dates may be not be changed within 90 days of the trip.

No refunds are given for cancellations of any kind.
